RED

Behold me at dawn and dusk,
I am ever so beautiful then.
At all intense in the burning flames,
Engulfing man and material alike.
I run through your veins incessantly,
Ready to splurge and surge any second.
I can stop you in your way  instantly,
For so is my power to persuade.
I adore a woman’s forehead,
As a figure of her enchantment.
I can shelter you in my warmth,
For so is my privilege.
Rest assured of my tender love,
I am the colour RED.
